How to streaming to Windows Media Player

You can run the Broadcast sample and click Preview button.

　

Now VideoCap Live ActiveX Control broadcasting the live video/audio, you can run the windows 

media player  and select File-Open URL, type http://127.0.0.1:8080 , it will display the video. If 

you want to test on remote computers, go to another computer, make sure the computer  have 

network connection, run the window media player and select File-Open URL, 

enter http://192.168.0.2:8080 , assume running Broadcast Sample's computer IP is 192.168.0.2



For the latest windows media player, the testing steps as following

1. Click Go to Library

2. Select Layout - Show menu bar

3. Select File - Open URL ...



4. enter the URL
